All I can say is that his price is ALWAYS at least 50% lower than dealers and other businesses and I TRUST his work.

You can always trust Larry to give you an honest estimate. He fixes your car right, if you are not satisfied you can take it back in as many times as you want till you are satisfied and he does not charge you another dime extra for all the effort. He will tell what you should not bother fixing and what you should. He has the best labor rate in town, period. Have got all my three cars fixed there and my friend's cars. Have taken about 6-7 of my friends' to him as well and everyone has nice things to say about him. He has worked on Nissan, Mazda, Honda, Volvo, BMW, Ford to name a few makes.

Larry is just a great guy period. He seems glad, without necessarily being asked, to listen to descriptions of your car's problems/aches/pains, sounds, noises it makes, and then offer thoughts and personal insights gained over his years of experience. If you're a DIY-er, you can learn a lot from Larry if you can shut up and listen to real wisdom. He does good, solid work on cars, imports and domestics. He gives you an appointment time to show up with your car(s), and is always ready to talk to you when you arrive. He identifies problems quickly and easily and has been willing to accept rebuilt/oem parts I have brought to complete repairs, or he will go and get them for you if necessary. His prices are always lower than the competition's huge, inflated version for an identical job. After doing the brakes on my girlfriend's Honda, he warmed it up in the cold morning so it would be ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. A community like Flagstaff is fortunate and lucky to have a guy like Larry living here.

My dad recommended Larry to me about a year ago when I needed the clutch replaced on my Tacoma. Larry did an exceptional job and my clutch has been working great. Recently, I took the Tacoma in to Larry's shop to have the timing belt replaced (along with the water pump). Once again, he did an exceptional job. In my experiences, his rates have always been low. When I heard how much he was going to charge for the timing belt, I was a good way! The amount was much less than I expected. I'm definitely planning on going to see Larry again in the future when any other car issues spring up. He's reliable, reasonably priced and does great work.

Larry is an outstanding mechanic. My family has been taking our vehicles to his shop for years now,and he has yet to disappoint. He's honest; tells you exactly what needs fixin and what doesn't -he doesn't haggle or throw in "extra charges" at the last minute; the price you negotiate with him is the price. Period. I would highly recommend this mechanic not just to the residents of Flagstaff, but to anyone living in the Northern Arizona region. Trust me, driving an extra mile or two to utilize Larry's services is more than worth it.

My son took his bronco in to get timing gears replaced. He was not finished when promised. He said we needed to change oil in a couple days. A couple miles after we left with bronco the radiator hose blew off. We caught it before engine got to hot. We called him and he said "oh. I must not have tightened it enough." No kidding Sherlock! He said I owe you a jug of coolant . Not the response I had hoped for. We barely got on the freeway after refilling the radiator and the engine blew up we towed itback to the shop. He said this is bad I went back two days later and he said he was not responsible for the engine! What? When I told him I would take him to court he said " I will install a new engine at no charge. I took I'm another engine the next Monday. He said " it won't take him long to put it in" I said I live in Tucson I wi be back in flagstaff Saturday to help son move to phx. He said it would be done. It wasn't so I drove back to Tucson . Sunday he called my son and said it was ready to be picked up. My son said I would be up Monday afternoon. We called around 1:30 to say we were in phx 2 hours out. He said " it's not ready" after arm twisting he said it would be done. It was ready when we picked it up. We had the oil changed before we left at another place ate dinner and left. Around casa grande ( my head lights started going dim. We stopped at the rest area and the belt to the alternator was lose. So I tightened it and the lights started working correctly. I have never had a worse experience with a mechanic ever. Who can't tighten a hose clamp or an alternator belt? Run away from this "shade tree mechanic'!
