I went to Hontech once for something I don't even remember, and when I went again several months later they remembered me, my car, what needed to be done on it, and were great about telling me what should be done right away and what could wait.

When I was a recently divorced little old lady, I was at the gas station and couldn't get the gas tank door open. On fumes, I went a couple of blocks to this little shop I had noticed. They fixed it for free. I still continued to have all work done by the dealer, however. Honda Cars and I had a falling out when they charged me $800. for a repair and told me to take it up with Honda, Denver. I went back to the Hontech shop and never looked back..I was with them for l5 years. I'd be with them still, but I bought a Toyota.The Solara is fine,but I miss my Hontech!

They are great about honestly telling you what NEEDS to be done with your car and what you can put off if you need to. Run by a woman and everyone is treated fairly!

Joe and Lorraine are great folks... too bad I dont drive a Honda anymore... if I did Hontech would be the place I would go...

These guys are very good! I feel like they are willing to work with me and explain all of the repair options before I commit to a specific repair. They take the time to let me know exactly what is going on with no upselling of needless services like the dealers. I highly recommend this shop for Honda owners!

Last week I found a Honda Accord and called the number which was to Hontech, Just so you know I was never able to speak over the phone with the owner/person selling the car; both the receptionist and owner's wife, Lorraine told me he/Joe was not available, nor would he call me back; however he/Joe stands by his cars. On Oct. 17th I went to the shop and met with Joe, who said verbatim the car is solid, needs nothing and I stand by the car. When I told him I was a single parent on a tight budget, he even said that if I purchased the car he would return my calls regardless of what receptionist and wife had said to me. After purchasing the car I noticed several drops on driveway and upon further inspection by a separate shop, found out the car needed over $4k worth of work to be done. I contacted the shop and again was told by Lorraine that Joe was busy, wouldn't call me back and I could bring the car in, so I did. Much to my dismay, Joe was visibly not happy to see me. His response to the list of items was that I should've taken the car in for an inspection before purchasing the car, the car was sold as is and that he never told me that he stood by the car. When I responded that I trusted him because he was a Honda specialist shop owner and mechanic who had given me his word that the car was solid with no issues, he became irate. He began screaming that we (my son & I) should've known better, how would he be able to make any profit on the car if he had done all of that maintenance, and when I started to cry, he threatened to call the cops if we didn't get the car and leave the shop. Joe ended up keeping the car over the next 3 days, he claimed to have done some of the repairs but I don't have the money to verify this. None of this was painless either, on top of Joe's bad behavior, his wife cursed, screamed, and even hung-up on me. I never once yelled, cursed, or hung up the phone in my dealings with either of them. I am mortified that people, especially those with an established business, can treat others with such disregard and disdain. Please do not do business with these people.
