We have two Toyota Previas, one purchased Aug 1990, the
other Oct 1997. Even the 17 yr old (192,000 miles) looks
and runs great. Experience with the local Toyota dealer
has not been good so we shopped around for a
repair/maintenance shop. Your site referred us to
Kittles. The old one was due a 60,000 mile type service
and we asked if Kittles could also give us an opinion re.
the logic of keeping it with the idea of several more years
of use or if we should consider a replacement. They kept
it overnight, ran thru the entire 60,000 mile check list,
and not only complimented its condition but even omitted
some of the more expensive items (transmission fluid flush,
valve clearance adjustment, engine coolant) noting that
each condition looked very good. When they called for us
to pick it up, they commented that they had "bad news"
about our previa. Then I found out the bad news was theirs
since the total service was not needed.
So, shortly after, I took the newer (?) one in since it was
also approaching the 60,000 mile service req'mt. It
required more service but still less than half the
customary amount. Again, they noted the excellence of the
condition.
Obviously, they could have performed the entire service in
each instance (or at least charged for it), but my
experience was similar to the ones I read on your site when
looking for a reliable shop. So thanks to you for an
apparently good recommendation and I'm happy to pass along
my kudos.

I've used Kittle's for 20 years, for a variety of
vehicles -Chevy, Jeep, Honda, Oldsmobile. Always honest,
professional, gets the job done. Never talks down to
female customers. Explains what's wrong as well as what
is working perfectly fine and needs to be left alone.
Freddie is the best.

We found the people at Kittle's garage to be friendly and competent. They took
the time to show us the problem and explain all the options available. We will
not hesitate to use this garage in the future.
