Knik tire and auto has been our family's first choice for almost all auto work for many years. New owners in the last several years have kept the same high level of quality and professionalism they've always had.

Very poor craftsmanship. I had an issue with my car overheating. I took it into this business and they discovered I had an upper radiator hose issue. They stated it would be 1 hr diagnostic charge, 1 hr repair charge, and the cost of the replacement part. That was fine with me. 1 week later I am on my daily work commute and the same thing happens to my car. This time I have to get a tow as I am on the highway and not in town. I get it towed to a different auto shop and let them know the history. They find that Knik Tire and Auto shop did in fact replace 1/2 of the upper radiator hose but not the other 1/2 the coupling part which had now failed. I think they should have replaced the entire thing personally. So this cost me double for the same problem + the cost of a tow for shoddy work performed by this auto shop.

updating review as I called them and they did offer to pay 1/2 the tow fee.
