We have taken our vehicles to John Coombs for 20
years. He and his son Matt are the only mechanics we
have ever been able to completely trust.( One of us
used to live in Dorchester so we know what complete
distrust is). We broke down in Boston a few years ago
and John even did over-the-phone diagnosis before we
let a guy in Revere touch it (he turned out to be honest,
by the way!)

i love my mechanic! well i guess both of them count, they are a father/son team. both very honest, friedly, patient. i trust them completely. since i had my 1st car, i've been going to them. i am a student and i make very careful decisions about money. when i need work done or think i do i always get all information from them and they are never impatiant with my repetative calls. it is an inconvience to drive the extra distance to get there (i used to live closer), but well worth it. yay john and matt!
