I had a re-curring problem that my previous mechanic had not been able to figure out after several attempts. When I brought it to Dave, he was unable to re-produce the problem during several attempts, so he volunteered to take the car over a long weekend to see if he could reproduce it while driving it as his primary vehicle. Sure enough, he re- produced the problem and knew exactly what it was. I couldn't believe it was finally fixed! He is as honest as can be and will spend as much time as you need explaining problems and alternatives.

i took my ol jeep to daves after dealing with other
mechanics, he knew exactly what was wrong with it,
and fixed it the first time. Take your car to daves if it has
a problem he knows his stuff. Daves Garage is the best
garage i've ever been to. those boys know there stuff.

I drive 85 miles to North Berwick Auto Center, 3 Commercial
Drive ME, anytime I need my car repaired. I've been dealing
with them for almost 12 years and never have a problem.
They've fixed foreign, domestic, cars, trucks and anything
else. The lead mechanic has been working with vehicles for
well over 34 years. He knows all the noises, clanks and
other sounds cars make. The other mechanics are simply
amazing. The place is always very clean, they are super
respecful to male and female. Barry is pretty old school and
would never treat a woman or any person that may not know
cars any different than he'd treat his own family.
Go there, their rates are great, everyone is smart and
friendly and you'd never be diapointed. They are the only
shop I know that'll replace and engine, transmission as well
as all the small stuff, such as brakes, and tune ups.
