Chris is just an all-around great mechanic!! He's been working on my parents' cars for about 10 years, and now on mine for the last 5 years (as long as I've been driving!). He takes the time to do the job right, and if there's a way for him to save you money and still have the job done, he'll do it! As a poor college student, I bring my car willingly to Chris -- he does no unneccessary repairs, and will be completely honest with you, even when it hurts! And there's nothing that can replace the comic relief when you watch him work -- he's a small guy, so he sits in the engine compartment when he's working on trucks, and it took him hanging his full weight off a long pipe to get my CV joint separated! I highly reccommend Gorham Auto Care to anyone in the Southern Maine area who wants a great mechanic (and person) to do their work for reasonable prices!!

I had my 2000 Tundra in for its 90k service and they were reasonably priced, used OEM part that I asked for (timing belt), replaced a belt they determined was shot and advised my my front brake pads were in need of replacement within a month.

Chris has replaced engines for us, checked out used cars for no charge, that we considered buying, always takes the time to show us what's wrong and needs repairs, and even allows us to supply the parts, or gives us ideas on where to find them at less cost. He's also a member of the community. and he and his wife contribute to the schools that his kids attend. He's a good guy.
