Myers has an excellent reputation for honesty and going out of their way for customers. You pay a fair rate but you know you arent getting ripped off. The shop is relatively clean, the staff (even Mechanics, Go figure!) always cordial. The only drawback is they aren't open on saturdays, That would interfere with Jr's hunting and fishing time.

I have all of my vehicles repaired here and recommend them to all of my family and friends. They have always squeezed me in right away when I have had a problem. JR (the owner) has even stayed after hours to check my vehicle. I have told them to repair parts that I felt sure needed replaced, and they have called me to tell me that I didn't need them after all! How many mechanics are that honest?!!!

I picked them for some major engine work because of the Car Talk comments. I was VERY happy. The cost was lower than a couple others had quoted. Because of difficulty getting a part they finished on time. They had hoped to have finished ahead of schedule. They briefed me on the condition of other parts of the engine (primarily good) since they had seen it while doing their work. This was a nice touch since the car is 12 years old.

I had a good experience at Myers. They focused on the problems I wanted addressed, rather than hunting for opportunities to increase my bill. (Those opportunities did exist.) Also, there was a comment from a few years ago about the shop not using modern equipment to diagnose problems. That must have changed since, because they used a scan tool to find a problem I was having.
