Each time I have taken a car into ATI (two different transmissions) I have left with a fixed car and a confident feeling that I wasn't ripped off. Kevin (the owner) has been courtious, patient and honest with each repair. If you are in the Washington-metro area, and you think you may need a new transmission it's worth getting ATI to give you a free estimate... Good Luck!

I have been to ATI Automotive Transmissions for service three times. Each time the work was completed on time and they worked me in immediately another time for a emergency repair. Their prices are resonable, all work is explained. They are honest. The previous owner, a mom and pop operation, was fantastic, the best. The new owners are living up to the old standard. I

I've worked w/ a guy named Dave (I'm not sure who Kevin
is). I own a 1992 Nissan 300ZX. About a year ago, he
replaced a clutch after my car was stolen. Then about 3
months ago, he replaced my clutch master/slave cylinders,
and he also told me that my radiator needed to be replaced.
He completed the work for a very reasonable price and when
I went to pick up the car, he showed me the old radiator
and where it had broken. Then last week, I couldn't shift
my car again so he had the car towed to his shop, and after
he looked at it he said that there was another bleeder
which had leaked fluid. He didn't charge me at all, not
even for the tow! According to Dave, the shop now does most
general automotive work, and I will def. be bringing him my
business. I highly recommend him, anyone who's had
experience around purpose-built race cars (he was telling
me about some wild RX-7s that he used to build/drive) can
always work on my car!
PS: There's a Metro station nearby, Dave will pick you up
from there if needed.
