These guys have taken care of my cars for about 4 years now. They are VERY honest, very competent, and I have never had a problem with any of the work that they have done. Additionally, they don't suggest any unnecessary work. Everything that they suggest, they explain very well why they recommend it and what the impact is if you do or don't complete the work. Just recently I had to take my car back in for a repeat repair. Tim took full ownership of the problem, and made sure that it was taken care of at no cost to me. I respected that decision even though not every mechanic would have taken care of it. I like these guys a lot, and I have no problem recommending Tim's Automotive for any repair work at all.

Travelers Beware! We broke down on I-95 recently while on our way to Florida. We were towed to this shop. They tried to charge us more than $1000 to repair a timing belt on a Toyota Camry. The 7 mile tow alone cost us $265 once they figured out I wasn't going to let them do the work. I towed my car back home to Vermont where our mechanic was able to fix the timing belt, water pump and 2 oil leaks for $423. What a scam! I suspect they wanted me to abandon the car so they could fix it and sell it at the auto auction located two doors down the street. Tim's Auto is as dishonest as they come. Stay away from these thieves!

Tim's was recommended by a colleague and I was very happy with their work, their timeliness, and how I was treated as a female customer. They took the time to explain everything, including what MUST be fixed and what did not or could wait. The second time I went, I failed to ask about whether they ever use used parts (my preference in certain cases) and so paid top dollar for a new battery. Nonetheless, they were once again quick and friendly. They also offer a shuttle service if you need a lift to/from work or home.
