Carty's has done body work on our family cars for several years. The work has been perfect each time. They deal directly with the insurance company(ies) so I haven't had to do a thing. They offer to arrange a rental if one is needed. Bottom line the results are immaculate, but here's the reason I keep returning to them and referring friends: In a day and time when customer courtesy and service seem to have disappeared, the folks at Carty's have redefined the term. These are genuinely NICE people who treat you fairly and with kindness. You get the sense that they really appreciate having your business and care about making your experience with them as positive and effortless as possible. I trust Carty's to do the right thing for all parties involved.

There are several reasons why I really like Carty's. One is that they are very trustworthy. I have never felt like they were making something up or that they were trying to up-sell me. In my first experience with them, I had taken my car to the dealer because it was convenient to work and they would drop me off/pick me up. They quoted me over $1200 for the repair and were recommending another $900 in preventative maintenance. I was just sick about it as it was so much more than I thought it would be and who wants to spend that much on a car repair. I didn't like the sound of their diagnosis so thought it would be prudent to get a second opinion; so I took it to Carty's. The total repair including an oil change was less than $300 and they said the preventative maintenance wasn't needed yet. Since then we've taken all our cars (five of them) there for one thing or another and I've always felt like they were reasonable and that they did a good job. My daughters car which is pretty much a beater 98 Accord, she had a fender bender in and they have been willing to do the minimum needed to get her back on the road so that we didn't have to put more money into it than necessary which we really appreciate. The only negative experience I've had was with them trying to find an air conditioning leak that ended up costing substantially more than I wanted to pay for fixing it but I also understand that part of that is the nature of trying to find a leak, when there can be more than one.
