Reno is an Italian-born American who has probably broken every bone in his body since he's been in America. Not because he hangs around in bad neighborhoods, but because he has spent years as a race car builder and driver. His constant pain prevents him from racing anymore, but he's got great stories to tell. Reno still owns the shop and works on cars, but his son is playing a greater role as assistant manager. The shop has long-term, loyal customers who have gotten to know Reno and trust him absolutely with their cars. Some folks who move out of the area actually bring their cars back to Reno for repairs (those are the guys with money, of course). Female customers will find him absolutely fair, honest and not at all patronizing. Reno does own a boat, but I think it's paid for! You should invite him on your show as a "guest" mechanic sometime!
