I work with the automotive industry as an Insurance Appraiser, and I can honestly say that Steve's reputation for honesty is well known. In an industry where the typical diagnostic for any problem with a transmission is a full $1500.00 rebuild. His estimates for what is really wrong is rare and hard to find. I first found Acme years ago when I had a simple plastic clip break on my T-Bird. The transmission was slipping badly due to this clip. Steve not only went to that exact problem in the parking lot, but went on a 10 minute test drive to make sure it was good. Cost? $5.00 Yep! A+ service, and a rare honesty that is hard to find these days!

The owner, Mark, provides excellent service. Is honest; example: my seat belt did not pass inspection, so Mark went personally to the Subaru Dealership in our area and had them order a seat belt for me for FREE with FREE installation, because he knew it was under a lifetime guarantee. (I am the second owner of this car). He treats women with the same high respect with which he treats men. Is very polite and explains everything regarding the repairs done or needed. I highly recommend and already have recommended him to friends. Signed, One of his women customers
