Kevin has saved me big bucks a number of times; he'll refer me to his specialists directly rather than accepting the car and towing it over. He looks over the car; tells me what needs repairs and what can wait; tries to give me the best value for the work (if he can jerryrig a fix, he'll do the minimum). Last month I had a list of small fixes, and asked him to check whether it was time for a tuneup. When I picked up the car, he told me it was within spec, and I didn't need the tuneup at this point. He's honest, reliable, and willing to work me in in a hurry: if I call on Tuesday afternoon, he'll generally schedule me in for first thing on Thursday. He's even dropped me off at work and taken the car back to the shop. Great guy, great service...
