I have been taking my cars to Ray since he opened his shop about ten years ago. Ray always goes the extra mile for his customers, coming in early, staying late and being available at all kinds of odd hours for a drop-off or pick-up. He usually does routine maintenance for me while I wait. Anytime I have a problem, I call and he tells me to bring the car right in. My car has got me through many New England winters without a problem, and I attribute it all to Ray. He is also a really nice, pleasant guy!

I've been bringing cars to Ray for about 10 years, and he's
a great guy, but sadly in recent years he has been over
worked to the point that repair times have suffered badly.
Numerous repairs have taken weeks to complete. Communication
is also poor, with no status updates, and phone calls rarely
returned.
Pros: honest, fair pricing, they own up to mistakes, and are
nice.
Cons: slow service, poor communication, and they get easily
bogged down with situations where the solution isn't
immediately obvious, or the parts are hard to find.

Completely unresponsive. Though Ray is a polite and sincere guy, it took him
three weeks to get the job done he had promised to finish in less than a week.
The shop never picked up my phone calls nor returned them. I had to actually
walk in to the store to get any answers. There are many better auto shops in
waltham. I do not recommend this place.
