Eddie is the greatest, honest, competent, reasonable, he has saved me money on numerous occasions, and it helps that he has a good nature and a good sense of humor. They've treated me like a peer even when I didn't deserve it (was still an ignoramus with only 2 years of driving under my belt back then). The first car I took to them, 14 years ago, was a rusted-out 15-year-old Corolla which another mechanic had just ruined for a whole lot of unrefunded money, and I was desperate; Eddie nursed that car along and gave me enough time to evaluate replacement cars properly. My second car wasn't my first choice, but it was one of Eddie's recommendations and he was right, it fit me like a glove. I've been sorry ever since I gave it up 8 years later, because thanks to Eddie and Scott it was still in great shape. Sadly, then I moved 80 minutes away. I've tried a couple of mechanics near my new home and each time reawakened my appreciation for Totten Pond Service Center, so Eddie's my mechanic again despite the distance from both home and work. And definitely get the Car Care Club card! My first one paid for itself and saved me an additional $80 on top of that, in the first visit alone.
