I didn't know how to answer question six: They respond well when they screw something up. This has never happened. Roman is the best.

In spite of efforts by my Honda dealership to resolve my car engine and electronics shutting down, Roman used his experience and knowledge and time to find this mechanical and safety problem. I also appreciated his humility that he could not guarantee 100% resolution but he would persist and resolve it, no matter how long it took him [and he did ].

I have been going to Good Care Auto Service for over 10 years now. Roman is a very competent and reliable mechanic. He is an expert in Japanese cars for sure (my wife and I have owned 3 in the past decade). Some of the things he has fixed for us include radiator replacement, muffler replacements, exhaust leaks, engine check lights, timing belt changes, regular maintenance. Every job has been satisfactory. He is a much nicer person than he might come across during your first meeting with him. I highly recommend Roman for your next car fix.

When I first looked into taking my 1997 Mitsubishi to Good Care last year, I thought there was something wrong. I thought maybe they'd paid someone to do some sort of spam campaign on review websites like this one and put up a bunch of good reviews. "How in the world could a little shop like that have so many 5-star reviews?", I thought. It didn't take me long to find out. Roman Cheung (the owner/mechanic) is the best auto mechanic I've ever dealt with. He's honest, friendly, fair, and really cares about doing a great job. As others have said, he's never tried to upsell me, and he's always done the best he can to save me as much money as he can without sacrificing quality. He doesn't just randomly replace parts, hoping to find a fix while your bill goes through the roof. He's passionate about finding the root cause of a problem and fixing it the first time. When you come to pick up your car after it's done, he makes sure to explain everything he's done so that you know what he did and why it solved the problem. I never thought I'd actually enjoy taking my car to a mechanic, but I enjoy taking my car to Roman. The guy's a legend. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Roman Cheung - owner/mechanic of Good Care - diagnoses the problem, explains the problem, estimates the cost, fixes the problem, explains the fix, shows you the old parts, details everything on the always reasonable invoice, identifies any concerns which may require attention in the future. Who could ask for anything more?!
