We've used Good Care for maintenance, brakes and general repairs for our 89 Honda for five years or more. Very competent, though not too chatty. You bring it in, they call with estimate, they fix it, you pick it up. Never had to go back with the same problem. They also fixed various suspensions/steering problems left by the body-shop after I was in a collision.

Roman in Good Car Care is the best in town especially for Japanese models. My brother referred me to him more than 12 years ago and I have been using him since. I am keeping my Honda for 12 years now because of him taking care of maintaining and repairing my car. The last repair in June, he saved me thousands of dollars that I would have paid if I went to the dealership. He takes care of the car as if it is his own. It is nice to get all the details of the repair and I like his advices to keep the car running on the road. I definitely trust him a lot. I also referred friends to him and they are very happy with his service.

They kept my 1990 Miata going for many years. In 1998 they replaced my engine with a recycled 1991 engine with alot fewer miles for only $1600. Sometimes a little difficult to understand (they are Chinese), but always honest, reasonable and very smart.

Roman Cheung is the owner/mechanic. He is a Chinese-American who speaks with a heavy accent and it takes good listening to get his points. He has a great sense of humor and is quite affable. He has been factory trained in Japan and in China (certifcates hung proudly all over his office walls)and he loves to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done to repair the problem. When he can do something to save you money, he does! The best part is that he does outstanding work. He's thorough, and does all the work himself because he says, "My standards are too high for others to meet". And I believe it!

Roman is great. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely friendly. He was extremely detailed in what was done to the car and how much it costs. The prices are reasonable and the turnaround time is great. He even stayed after his usual closing hours so I can get the car on a Saturday. Will go back for any other repair/tune up as needed.

Roman Cheung is an amazing mechanic. Seems to take a personal interest on the car he works on. I had one of the first Prius's in the area, and he took the time to learn about it and work with me with the owners manual to solve some of the intricacies. He loves technology and is in touch through the net with all the latest car related issues. He will explain in great detail the work he performed. Did I mention he is a nice guy too?

I am very lucky to have found the best auto mechanic in MA. I gladly brought Roman my cars even when I lived in Sharon, MA. I found Roman to be the most knowledgeable and honest technician as well as extremely fair who I have dealt with. If you want your vehicle to get the best service...go to Roman at Good Care Auto Service in Waltham, MA.
