Always ready to help diagnose a problem. For example, the other day my car would not start, just clicked. Called Boudreau's, described the symptom and told them I would have the car towed to the garage while I wenbt to work. Then called AAA and they jumped the car and it started and was allowed to idle for an hour to charge the battery. My wife called the garage back and said I wasn't coming. Got home from work and went to start my car. Just clicked. Got a jump start, drove to the garage where they checked the car and confirmed a dead battery. Just on the chance that they would need it they had all ready gotten in the appropriate battery for my car. They commented " We figured this was probably the problem so we got the battery in for you.

A radiator replacement charged more than "the book" said it should take and more than it actually took them. They do terrific work ... if you can afford them.

I have been taking my '98 Explorer to Jim's since I moved to the area. I too though the price was a bit high at first and checked out a couple of other places. You get what you pay for. It might cost a bit more at Jim's but I have had plenty of work done by Jim and his mechanics that they did not charge me for. I have even been given coupons that do not expire. I have never had any problems with them honoring any of the warranties that go along with the parts that they install.
