Well, we've known Chuck a long time. We actually first learned about his shop when he left a note on the alfa rameo we had at the time saying that he worked on that particular car if we ever needed a mechanic. But they're great guys that especially love saabs, especially the older ones. So, if you have a saab that you care about, send it to Chuck. He'll take good care of it.

These guys were actually recommended to me by my local Saab dealer. The dealer told me that they were too busy to look at my car, but that there was a local independant guy that does German and Swedish cars, and that they did good work. (I don't think that I've EVER heard of a dealer passing on customers to someone else!) These guys do scheduled maintainence, they're willing to use 3rd party parts, used/refurbished parts, or just factory parts depending on your mood. They charge $30 / hour less than the dealer, and do dealer quality work. They employ about 8-10 full time mechanics, and have PLENTY of bays to work on your car in. They're right in downtown Southboro, minutes walking distance from a diner and a pizza shop if you're waiting for your car, also only minutes away from the local bus route as well if you're not waiting. The service manager is always matter-of-fact, very open about what needs to be done now and what can be safely put off until another visit. They always contact you before any additional work is done, and are happy to keep you posted on the status of your vehicle. Service Manager: John MacDonald Phone Number: (508) 485-1430
