Genuinely good guys, always upeat and ready to serve. I have recommended many other customers to them and always receive good reviews. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

After several years of servicing my aging Mazda very reliably, they gave me two references for a mechanic for my Volvo; a make they do not service. Recently, on a hot Saturday when the Volvo battery failed and they were the shop within walking distance; they arranged a tow truck to pick up my car and tow it to my current mechanic on the other side of town. They were perfectly happy to wait until Monday to be paid for this service. The shop is a family affair: Forest & Paul Mason

Brought my Subaru in for in response to a check engine light and missing on a couple of cylinders... They fixed the problem quickly, thoroughly, and for a reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

I brought my Honda Civic in for an oil change. They were economical, efficient, friendly and competent. The shop is small and I saw only one mechanic so I am curious how they would handle major repairs.

I can't tell you how glad I am that I found these guys. I brought in my Mazda6 for a 30,000 mile checkup last week, armed with a long To-Do list of "recommended" services given to me by the dealership that sold me the car. I was a little skeptical of certain items (transmission drain and brake fluid flush, to name a few...after 30,000 miles?!) , so I went searching for a second opinion. I found these guys on Mechanic Files. I brought my car and the list to the shop the next day. By the end of the day, I was walking out a very happy customer and here is why: 1. the mechanic gave me his honest opinion of what work needed to be done. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING and answered all of my questions. 2. I was able to bring my car the next day and pick it up on the way home from work that evening. 3. they were very organized inside the shop - probably the thing I was most impressed by. 4. I (no joking) saved over $300 dollars compared to what I would have paid, had I gone to the dealership. 5. The location of the place couldn't be better. It's a 4- 5 minute walk from the train station. These guys are a real find and I've already told a few friends about this shop. Anytime I need my car fixed, I am going to these guys.

They are always courteous and willing to help. Even though I am a guy, I know little about cars and find some mechanics a little intimidating. My experience with them was always positive. I had a problem with my car alarm going off in the middle of the night. They could not fix it, but recommended someone who could, and the referral did a great job and was as reasonably priced as they were. I also had a problem where my car would not start; they fixed it and charged me $25. I did not think that a mechanic would fix any problem-even a small one- for that price.

These guys are great. They are honest, fair, reliable and terrific mechanics. They usually get work done within a day, and, if they can't, they call me and explain why. That only happened once, and it was because a part wasn't available. I've never had a problem with the work they've done. Plus, I can drop my car off and take a ten minute walk to the T.

I brought my car in to repair a scraping noise which happened when I braked. They installed new front brakes without first asking for my okay. My car probably needed these, but when I drove it again, the scraping noise was the same and grew worse. I took the car in again, and they installed rear brakes, again without asking for my permission first. I was upset because I just had rear brakes installed last year at another place, and I would have gone back to them to get them fixed. I won't go back here again.
