I love these guys. I live nearby and when my kitten was lost I found it two days later sleeping in a tire in the store. They'd taken it in and taken care of it, buying a litter box, cat food and a dish. They even took her to the Cat Hospital on Damon Road to have her scanned for a chip! Russ and the boys are totally awesome. I have never been dissatisfied. If there's still a problem after the repair Russ is right on it. You simply cannot come away totally happy. I have sent many friends there too and all say the same. These guys are great. Russ has been a good neighbor, helping out those in the 'hood more than once. They are good people and mechanics! Good to know them, The Best!!

Russ and the other mechanics here are wonderful. They got me through a problem Buick, and now take great care of my Toyota. I've been going to this shop for 5+ years and have never had a problem with the work done. Their prices are reasonable-- and they often give me a coupon price even if I don't have the coupon-- and the customer service is consistently good. They can usually also provide a free loaner car for the day of the repair, or at least a ride to home/work. Highly recommended.

I was driving through MA, dropping a child off at college. I took our most reliable car - so it made it the whole way. I ended up with a water pump failure and went first to another shop where they totally mis-diagnosed things. My brother-in-law correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone. I called first thing the next morning. These guys were able to take the car in that same day and had it fixed for less than a dealor offered (no surprise) + they replaced the timing belt and timing belt tensioner, all for less than the dealor wanted for the H2O pump. They have a great attitude. Treat their customers well, even those whom they may think will never be coming to them again. They welcomed my progress calls during the day (I needed to time my departure as I was "camped" an hour away) I would not hesitate at all to return to this shop.

I took car here for an alignment and had them check the balance. I was also having a problem with my parking brake sticking, so I asked them to give me a call with an estimate before they replaced the part. I also asked them very explicitly to put my wheels back on with a torque wrench, not an impact wrench or a torque stick. The guy I spoke with assured me they would, and that they would call me the next day with an estimate for the brake issue. I never received a call the next day, so I called them myself in the afternoon and discovered that the car was ready. It turned out that the problem with the parking brake was just a spring, and so they had replaced it without calling me. It was an inexpensive repair, so this would not have been a big deal (although as a general rule I *always* like to approve repairs ahead of time, and thought I had made this clear). The part that really upset me was that they clearly over-torqued my wheel nuts. After picking up the car, I had some brand new nasty vibrations that had not been present earlier. Assuming they had done the alignment and balancing correctly, I figured I'd check to make sure the wheel nuts weren't on too tight, and discovered that they were at least 50 ft-lbs over the recommended torque--all except for the one nut that was actually loose to the touch. Now, I realize that most tire shops use impact wrenches to put the wheels on, but they had specifically assured me that they would use a torque wrench for my car, so this felt very dishonest. Furthermore, the fact that they left one nut loose is very dangerous. Overall, my experience with this shop was average. They are certainly not the most dishonest shop I've worked with, but it felt like they only humored my requests and figured that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and that does not inspire confidence. I would not take my car back to them.
