Located in Upper Falls less than a mile from Elliot and Waban stations (local buses across the street). I don't know if they could rebuild the space shuttle -- but I've used them for 5 years for brake service, shocks, oil changes, etc, etc. Honest, friendly and have always completed a job the same day. Not open weekends.

Mike is an honest, pleasant, articulate, and competent guy who has worked on my Honda Civic and my wife's CRV for the last 5 years. He patiently explains things to my un-macho, nerdy self without being condescending. He's told me a number of times I don't need work done, work he could easily do to make extra dough. For example, when another shop was ready to give me a new exhaust, he patched it so I could get a few more miles out of it. And when I asked him to winterize the car this past week, he checked it first & said it wasn't necessary. 2 MBTA Green Line stations (Waban & Elliot on the D branch) are a 15-minute walk (Mike offered to drive me) and a bus that runs every 1/2 hour to the T is a 3 minute walk. The current economy (November 2008) is hurting his business. People are cutting back on repairs and even routine maintenance. That's dumb. Don't do it - bring your car to Mike, a great guy who deserves success. You'll be happy.
