Reggie is in my opinion the best in the business. For a young guy he has many years in the business having worked with his father from a very young age. He can put his finger on the problem in no time at all. Here is the best part, he's honest.

I needed a general service and the 'check engine' message was on. Reggie diagnosed a faulty computer and fixed it rather than buy a new one. The bill identified work done and things to watch in future. Great service - Improved mpg by 10%. I'll be back for all future work.

Reggie was great. He fixed it, and gave me a great lesson in cars. I will never go to a dealer again.

Paul did a great job on my mercedes, he didn't do any work that didn't need to be done and he went to the core of the problem for a reasonable price.

Paul's shop did a timing belt and water pump on my Honda Accord. I dropped the car off at 9 on a Saturday morning and got the car back by 1p.m that afternoon. I was very pleased with the staff and the quality of work, I will definitely return.

On a Friday night, my brake light and battery light went on. I was told by my now "former" mechanic that it was probably the alternator, but they would not be able to do anything until the following Thursday and suggested I rent a car in the meantime. A friend to me about Peter, and on Sat.,a.m., I called in a panic. By 1:30, my car was fixed, and he explained to me the whole process and why he chose a certain part over another. It wasn't that he was not busy, but he understood the situation and stayed open to help me out. Not only is Peter nice, but the guys in the shop are wonderful. One of the guys had plans and was leaving, but instead, he delayed his plans to help his co-workers. These are people who like what they do and have strong work ethic. As a woman (I had a bad experience once), I worry about being taken advantage of and that is NOT the case here. He is just a really nice guy who loves what he does and treats people with respect. He told a friend of mine that it was not worth repairing her car. He could have made a lot of money on replacing parts, but instead he was honest and that says a lot.

These guys are great - not just the owner, but everyone who works there -- pleasant, conscientious, timely. I'm glad to have discovered them and will definitely continue to take my cars here.

What a smart, reliable, friendly crew. I found Paul's by chance when my parents drove several hundred miles to Boston for a visit and the air conditioning in their Volvo went kaput. Not only did Paul's make time on a Saturday and diagnose the problem almost instantly, but Paul also made detailed arrangements just in case of any future problems with the repair -- even offered to drop ship parts to their regular mechanic if anything went wrong. Now I also take my Honda to Paul's. I really appreciate their willingness to go into detail to explain a problem, even show you the actual parts that had to be replaced, and take time to answer any questions about the repair or general auto care issues. Not only Paul, but all the mechanics I've met there are very knowledgeable and obviously love what they do. I feel their prices are fair, and they explain their charges in detail. Also, I am a woman in my 20s, and I definitely feel comfortable and fairly treated there. Bonus: it's a short walk from Newton Highlands, great for hanging out while you wait for your car!
