I found thtSteve and the people he has working for him are extremely competent and Ican't say enough about the type of service. One time I brought my car in to find that Steve was on vacation,(feeling alittle apprehensive about leaving it without him being there) I left it anyway, after doing errands with my wife all morning at lunch time, I got a call telling me that my car was done which was a day ahead of time.

He's been a really great mechanic. I'm a 24 y/o woman who needs to rely on the integrity of my mechanic to keep myself from being duped. He's been fantastic, he's looked at my car without charging me, and always wants to save me a buck or 2 if he can.

I found Kiser Automotive only because it is near my work. They are not the cheapest but they take the time and trouble to figure out what is wrong, and how to fix it right. I use them for routine maintenance as well as major repairs. They stand behind what they do ( Not only as they waive good-bye)

I have used them on and off for years and have come to the conclusion that I won't go back. The last few times, the repairs all seem to take a few days even if the jobs are simple; they say they have to wait for parts, but several days for common parts? Also, I expect some savings when going to an independent than a dealer, and I have done a bit of price comparison, and they seem to be no less and sometimes MORE expensive. Sometimes they'll try a fix, put in a part, problem still there, replace another part, have to pay for both even though the first part was fine.
