Mike and Frank at New England Tire and very honest and dependable. I've had several cars they've worked on for me. They take the time to do things right and explain what repairs need to be done. They never try to sell you something that is not needed (especially when your car is old, like mine, where other shops have tried to convince me to replace everything.) There prices are very reasonable and they're willing to shop around to get you the best price on parts. Mike likes to talk a lot which leads to him taking a bit more time to get things done, but Frank makes up for it in speed and knowledge. They work on all kinds of cars and are good about reccommending someone else if they feel they're not the best for the job. One time, I had to leave my car with them but couldn't miss a day of work and Mike let me use his personal vehicle for the day. It's nice to know there are honest and caring business people left in the world.

Mike and Frank have never once disappointed me. I've brought my 2001 Toyota Corolla to them for various fixes or preventive maintenance... I just recently saved over $24 on an oil change using Mobil-1 Synthetic, when compared to ano*jiffylube*ther oil change specialty shop. He's saved me money when I gave him a laundry-list of things I wanted replaced; half of them didn't need replacing (such as hoses & brake pads) and he got me the best prices he could on the things that did need replacing. My first time there was for a simple brake pad replacement; he brought the car in and did the job quickly and charged me $40 for the labor (I supplied the pads). I had asked ano*Midas*ther garage what they'd charge for the same job, and they said like $80 and that they don't use customer-supplied parts. What a savings! In summary, these guys will do what you want and will do what they can to keep the costs within your budget. Definitely five star service.
