If you have any problems with your VW or Audi (or other German car) don't bother to look for help elsewhere. I've been taking my cars to them for 20 plus years now and hold them to the highest regard. Tat and his brother Mike are gurus with everything from cluthces to electrical problems.

It's like Zen and the art of VW's - both Tat and Mike have been working their magic on my cars since I moved to the area 20yr ago. WOW -ok- so I'm old. From Type III VW, Jetta, Audi to a '86 Quantrum Syncro that has provided my son Scot with trouble free cross country adventures. If you need a shop that treats you the way you would treat yourself then they are the shop. Cheers to the boys on Central St.

I've given them thousands of my hard earned dollar bills, and it was worth every single one. Extremely knowledgeable and brutally honest. Tat (how can you not trust a guy named Tat) actually took the time to pull out a clutch kit and show me the inner workings. And I think he enjoyed it as much as I did.

It seems they excel at restoring/working on very old VW's (beetle, van). I don't think they really have a good handle on newer Audi's. Told me that they couldn't replace a directional bulb on a 2002 A4 without "taking the entire front end off". Can't read writing on the service report so I'm not completely sure exactly what they did/didn't do. Fair pricing with reasonable hourly rate. Just didn't get a good feeling that I was getting the full story.

I was traveling through on a road trip when the starter motor on my 1985 Westfalia went bad. These folks took terrific care of me, did the repair at a very fair price the next day after I called and stayed until 9 pm to get the car in for repairs the next day. A truly great experience and I highly recommend them.

My 2003 Beetle got sent to them by a very good mechanic. Stopped by to get the phone number a few days later, was greeted at my other car, invited in to see my babe on the lift. ...explained what happened using the old pieces, and then said it would be ready by next business on new parts looks great, and work was done really fast... suggest for any VW owner.
