When I moved to Massachusetts 9 nears ago, I was driving a vintage 1979 Magic Bus (Volkswagen pop-top camper). Although Bruce had, shall we say, negative karma concerning this particular make and model stemming from rather sordid childhood experiences on a family trip, he cheerfully and competently and inexpensively kept my bus running long after it should have been turned into a backyard planter. Finally, when the gas tank rusted through and the frame was rotting away, Bruce let me leave the bus on his property as I worked through the grief of letting go. After about a month, Bruce called to say a teenager had inquired as to the availability of the vehicle, and would I like the lad's number. Well, suffice it to say the young man had an uncle who was a mechanic and $500 cash, which was good enough for me. Anyway, the point is that Bruce, after working for so many years on a vehicle that resurrected so many demons from his past, went out of his way, beyond the call of duty to see me through a particularly difficult passage in my life. Yes, Bruce is a mechanic and more.

I found this mechanic on the car talk web site and they are great. The shop is
clean neat and organized they are very friendly and helpful.Their prices are
really reasonable[Bruce probably dosen't have a boat payment to make]And they
do very good work. It's nice to know there are still good honest and fair priced
mechanics out there. Thanks Bruce and thanks Car Talk

I found Bruce on Mechanx files and haven't had work done
anywhere else since. The first four! times I needed
repairs done I got estimates elsewhere before seeing Bruce
in order to compare. WOW! What a difference! We all know
there are shady mechanics out there, but Bruce's honesty
really highlights the bad apples. He easily beat them in
price and attitude. His diagnoses are accurate, thorough
and always honest. He lets you know how long you can go
before needing to repair something. As a woman I appreciate
that he is professional but personable. I never feel like
I'm taking up his valuable time when asking him questions.
And to top it all off his shop is immaculate, including the
bathroom!!! I'm always giving out his business card!

The clutch on my BMW failed one day. I had it towed to
Bruce's. They called me the next day to say that the car
was OK. No charge. A must have "hung up" and sitting
overnight it fixed itself. No problems since then. He
could have charged me but didn't. Have brought all my work
to him since then. Good wrk always at less than I would
expect. Will not go anywhere else.

A great place to get your vehicle worked on. They have fixed
our Ford Ranger, Dodge Sprinter, BMW 330, Dodge Neon and Saab
9-3. They've done everything from brakes to engine swaps.
Always fast and reasonably priced!

We have been taking our vehicles to Bruce for over 8 years.
From Chevy, Durango, Jeep, to Saab (ugh), Bruce has been
able to fix almost anything. The only issue (not his fault)
was replacement parts for the Saab being collector items.
Always honest, very reasonably priced. I can always depend
on him to get it right the first time. I highly recommend
Bruce's shop to all my friends. While the shop is not close
to any public transportation, the lot is very large and easy
to drop off and pick up.
