I had an issue with the rear brakes of my 2001 Nissan Xterra. He looked at it, called me that morning and explained exactly what was wrong and how much it would be to fix. He completed the work before the end of the day.

Gregg is the best! I had a Toyota dealer (Wellesley Toyota) change the timing belt on my Corolla wagon (an expensive job), and it never ran right after that. Gregg took it all apart, discovered they had done it wrong, put it all back together, told us what to tell the dealer to do about it, and didn't charge us a thing! He even told us to have the dealer call him if they didn't believe us. The dealer, of course, hemmed and hawed and denied there was anything wrong with it, but finally redid the job for free. I don't think they would have if Gregg hadn't been backing us up. We lost track of Gregg when he opened his own shop, but when I found him again years later, he remembered my name and my car. I don't know anyone who has had a bad experience with Gregg.

I can't say enough positive things about Gregg - I shopped around for years, often paying dealer repair prices because I couldn't find a mechanic I trusted, until a friend told me that Gregg was keeping her high mileage Camry running without pushing her into unnecessary, expensive repairs that weren't worth it on an old car. He's since been doing the same for my '93 Corolla, and '93 Honda. He's reliable, honest, thorough, and goes the extra mile (no pun intended..) to provide good service.
