Even though these guys are friends of mine they are honest (even away from the shop as one of them found my wife's lost engagement/wedding ring) and do good work. And they always take time to explain to my wife (who thinks you never even need to change the oil) what the problem was. Even though her toyota camry is 13 years old and still gets 30+mpg, she feels nothing should go wrong or wear out. She was upset that the muffler lasted "only" 10 years. heck we just had the starter replaced on her 13 year old car and she said why? Bob explained to her, how the starter works and wears out.

This is a two guy shop. A couple of stories that illustrate their approach. Something didn't seem quite right with my car, so I brought it in. They checked it out and said everything was in order as far as they could tell. I asked about the service fee was and was told it was zero because they didn't do anything. The weight of oil my car uses was unavailable from their supply point, so I was told to purchase it myself. Even after their supplier started carrying the weight I was told to continue bringing in my oil aswhat I paying was cheaper than their supplier was charging them for the same weight and brand. They aren't foul mouthed. They don't treat their customers(male/female) as marks. The price you are quoted is the price you are charged. They keep a tidy shop. They are professionals.
