I have an 88 Mazda 626 that I'm getting everything I can out of, and Roy's Place is helping. Roy does most of the talking, his son does most of the work. Roy is glad to talk to you, doesn't BS around and he seems to be aware of problems that are common to particular car makes and models. His prices are certainly lower than dealer's and he won't fix anything unless you ask him to (this keeps the cost down substantially). It's a small shop, only one bay inside the garage and a portable lift outside that he uses in good weather. If he can't handle a job because it will tie up a bay for more than a day or so, he'll refer you to another qualified (and hopefully honest) mechanic.

I am a friend of Roy's today -- as are most of his long- term customers -- but first went to Roy's Place when my sister and I were raising her two kids and caring for our grandfather. Roy was so helpful and his prices so fair that we just couldn't believe it. Over the years we have referred our entire family -- including the kids now in their 30's -- and many of my mother's elderly friends to Roy and RJ. They are just terrific and deserve their outstanding reputation. Kris Swanson P.S. Their name is Cote (pronounced Cody).
