Since I've started bring my car, A '95 VW GTI VR6, to Vinnie and Louie I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on it. These guys perform miracles and don't charge a fortune for them. They even took my car into their shop on a Sunday and had it ready for me on Monday - I know of no other garage that would have been so accommodating.

Wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else. They're honest, efficient and competent. Maybe they charge a little more than others, but they're worth it. I've never had to take any of my last 3 cars back after repairs (Saab, Nissan and Toyota). Vinnie is an ace - he kept my 1984 Saab alive for years after it should have gone to the scrap heap!

Vinnie and Louie are extremely conscientious, honest mechanics. They are great troubleshooters. I started going to them when my dealer told me that I needed to change all four brakes on my Acura. A close friend recommended Vinnie's shop as they had been maintaining his car for years, and he raved about their competence and service. I gave them a chance, and they explained that because of the physics of stopping, it's rare that all four brakes need work at the same time. The front does most of the work. The same dealer wanted to change the timing belt at 65K miles. Vinnie pointed out that the shop manual stated 107K. I trust them implicitly. The only disadvantage with Vinnie's Auto Sport is that it's absolutely no frills. There is no waiting room, no wi-fi, no coffee, etc, not even a parking lot. They also don't take credit cards for payment. The trade-off is well worth it.
