Boomer at Chicago Auto Repairs recommended DeLeo's Body shop for repair of my car. I found John DeLeo to be a straight shooter from the get-go. His estimate for body repairs was $900 cheaper than the original insurance estimate. His pleasant disposition is helpful too.

I have taken my car there for multiple claims (living in the city has its perils) and both times, they have done beautiful work and dealt directly with the insurance company so I didn't have any headaches. Another time, I got a scratch on my wife's brand new car. Took it there, expecting it to cost 500 bucks to fix. He sprayed on a bit of friction compound and made the scratch disappear right there. Didn't charge me either. I will always take any auto body work there.

They saved me a lot of money and did an excellent job on cleaning the car afterwards!! Highly recommended.

I needed the area around my door handle repaired after my car was broken into. DeLeo's estimate was half what other body shops quoted me (and they repainted a larger area than the other shops would have). The work was finished quicker than I expected, they did not go over their initial estimate, and it looks great. The 47 bus (which connects to the red and green line of the T) stops a couple blocks away from the shop.

Did a great job on repaint and body panel replacement on driver and passenger side. Even straightened out some hood damage for free- car looks brand new. Cleaned interior with greasy armor-all grade product, but couldn't fault them as their heart was obviously in the right place. If you maintain your interior meticulously (lexol, matte finish, etc.), you'll probably want to ask them to hold off. Not a complaint, just a heads up. Bottom line, they do great work and provide great service. Hope I don't have cause to use them again anytime soon, but if I need body work done, no question about it- I'd head straight back to De Leo's.

I took my car there after it was hit. They were incredibly gracious about delays from the insurance company. Their estimate was a little higher than the insurance company's, but when I picked up the car, I was pleased to see that they had done the work for the amount I received from insurance! Very friendly and easy to work with.

Excellent auto body work on my Subaru. We have been rear-ended three times in this city and DeLeo's has always made the repair process easy.

I had a ding in the rear quarter panel. It is a relatively small job but their work appears excellent.
