They fixed a problem that 4 other mechanics had been unable to, in a matter of minutes. They are extremely helpful, friendly, and professional.

Not just a tire store! The shop owner is a enthusiastic diagnostician, and fearless when it comes to the unknown. He seems to genuinely love to tackle problems and solve them. It seems like he is knowledgeable but he is always seeking out automotive problems that are new to him. By my standards this seems to be a pretty big operation for a neighborhood shop. From what I have seen, part of the reason for its apparent success is that all of the employees seem pretty happy to be working there and have a "can do" attitude. This shop is very sympathetic to the customers' needs and will give you an honest answer to what can, and what should be done with a problem car.

They do good work and seem to find ways to save time (and money) on the job.

Re-opened since Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. I had a brother-in-law recommend them from pre-Katrina, and they are still good. Highly recommended.

Great garage. I have been looking for a good New Orleans mechanic for years now, and this was the first shop to actually fix the problem with my car accurately.
