Henry (proprietor) is as honest and reasonable as the day is long. He'll keep the broken part he replaced and show you the failure point. Like a good surgeon he'll also advise you if you really don't need to fix something from a practicality basis. He replaced the head gaskets in our old Chevy Tahoe that had been replaced in the past and leaked again. Henry and his techs took the time and fixed it right and explained what was done wrong the first time (by the other shop) and how his repair would last another 100K miles+. I sent my mother's car to him (that should tell you). The only caveat is when you drop your car off you're likely to hear about his impossible schedule and possible delays in getting to your car but usually you get your car back in 48 hours. If you make an appointment for a repair they'll usually give you a time in 10 or so days (if your repair can wait that long). Best shop in New Orleans!

They are extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. Something went out on my car that they fixed a few years ago. Even though the part/labor was no longer under warranty, the mechanic thought it should have lasted longer. The part was not as high a quality as expected. So when he replaced the part for me, he did so at price (25% off normal price). Also, I sent a friend over who was having problems with the cruise control and the timing of the engine on the car. Over a phone conversation, Mr. Henry (head Mechanic) told him to replace the new brake lights with regular ones (not LED). The cruise and timing problems went away immediately. The mechanic also advised him to go to the dealership to get the computer reconfigured to fix all the timing, because they could not do it in the shop. They are always very honest about the problem, the solution, and whether or not they are capable of correcting the issue. Been going to this place for almost 8 years. Parents have gone to this place for over 10. They are awesome.

I've brought my car to this Automotive Services twice. I've had an excellent experience both times. I found them on and feel like I've found the golden ticket and couldn't be happier with a mechanic. It's like being happy with your have to go so you might as well make it as painless as possible. The dealership quoted me $ 5,500 and Henry and Mike charged me $ 205. The car just had an issue and they fixed it days earlier than they said they could get to it and are really very easy to work with. I'm a single female and feel like this is the first time I've walked into a garage and was spoken to honestly and didn't have to look at naked women on the walls. They are busy because they are good. I highly recommend them.
