On my first visit, I took my daughter's Buick to Brakes and More on the recommendation of a workmate. It smelled of gasoline and I was sure the fuel injectors were leaking.Several hours after leaving the car, I got a call from Art Lindsey, the owner, to learn my car was repaired. I shrieked as I told him I wanted an estimate before repair work was done. "No charge" was the answer, the fuel line was loose and I tightened it. Surely I can give you something for your time. He laughed and said it took him a minute to find the problem and a turn of the wrench to repair it. I found this honesty to be so refreshing...especially from a mechanic!!!! He could have easily told me I had even one or all injectors leaking, but he didn't. Art has done all of my repair work since, from my '66 T- Bird, '83 Datsun 280ZX to my son and daughter's cars to the family mini-van. This is an exceptionally honest shop which strictly does business by word-of-mouth. An appointment is needed as word has leaked out of the quality of his work.

Have taken multiple vehicles to this shop for minor repairs and oil changes. Also had them look at a car I was going to buy (which they inspected for free). Service is always excellent.
