Cary's very strong on courtesy and service. He made certain to hook me by giving me lots of time and attention, explanations from his experience and free advice how to fix it myself (I'm the mechanical sort). Cary owns this small business (his brother Chris - also a good mechanic, I hear - owns a shop on the other side of town, but my experience is limited to Carey), but he's much easier to talk to than the usual evasive, noncommittal sort. I've had dealings with Cary for years, and he always seems to make a way to take care of my problems quickly and in many cases for free! He seems to enjoy giving the quick "once over" to the used cars I bring to him when I'm looking to trade, and I've come to feel his verdict is law. He advised me for years to buy a Toyota Camry, but I ignored him and chose instead the Volvos and VWs and Fords until I came to feel that I was getting too much exposure to repair shops and I traded my '91 Explorer for a '93 Camry LE. Cary did the 60,000-mile maintenance (timing belt, etc.) for me that same month, and I haven't seen him since. He put himself out of work - you can't ask for better!

They have worked on my car without having an appointment. Twice I have called and they have fixed the car quickly and without putting me in the poor house.
