My first experience with Roppel's was when our 1997 Honda CR-V needed a new radiator. The total charges from Roppel's were approx. $300 less than a nearby competitor (this was for the radiator, hoses, and belts). I was very pleased with the work, the price, and the friendliness of the staff. The next time I took the same vehicle there was for a rattle under the vehicle. It was a loose heat shield, and they made the repair at no charge. I was very willing to pay for their time and effort, but they declined. The last visit there was to have the brakes inspected (same vehicle). I had felt certain that the front brakes were shot, but the mechanic said approx. 50% of the pads were left and the rotors looked fine. He could have very easily told me that pads and rotors needed to be replaced since I had thought they were gone, but they were completely honest, AND they did not charge for the brake inspection / cleaning / adjustment. Again, I was very willing to pay for their time. I am very impressed with this shop so far and plan on taking my 2001 Toyota there for some routine work in the very near future.
