Peanut (Bill Clark) and his techs are honest, skilled
mechanics. I've had him call me after I picked up my car
to apologize for a $90.00 invoice that he'd estimated at
$150.00 (I was thrilled with the bill), but he wanted to
explain what his work. If you drive a Japanese or
American car (he does not have a computer program for
diagnostics on european cars) this is the only place I'd
take my car in Lexington. I am a 38 year old female and
Bill and his employees are not sexist and don't attempt to
pray on fears. If it doesn't need fixed, they don't try
to fix it. Good folks that treat their customers well.
Highly recommended!

Bill Clark is an honest and capable mechanic and has very capable assistants. I do not have to worry about being sold repairs or parts that are not needed. He has even lent me his 1950 Dodge when I needed a loaner!

They fixed my Oldsmobile's starting problem and I have not
had any problems since. They were good about informing me
of what they found before repairing anything. They were
also pleasant on the phone and seemed willing to
communicate and keep me actively informed.
I think their bill was well organized explaining the parts
cost and the labor cost for each particular repair. I
think their prices were fair and within the amount I would
have expected anywhere else. The strongest recommendation
is that they have diagnosed the problem and have
definitely fixed it. I have not had to have any furthere
workup or repair since picking up my car.

When they tried to fix a broken sun roof and found it very
expensive (for me) to do, they suggested I contact Jeep to
complain. I did, Jeep paid for it.
It was of no benefit to them but it was great for me.
That's the kind of people they are. Honest as the day is
long, always putting the customer first.
I'd travel from Alaska to have them work on my vehicle.
P.S. - They even worked on a 1962 TR3 for me.

I had a coolant leak on the engine block. They said I needed
a radiator after they "pressure tested" the coolant system
and blew the radiator end cap off.
Several hundred $$ later. I still have the coolant leak on
the engine block that I started with. I won't be back.
