I have 2 older, high mileage vehicles (1992 Dodge and 1993 Nissan). Dude has worked on both vehicles and is extremely honest about his repairs, plus being reasonable with prices. When he fixes a car, it is fixed. When I had trouble with a transmission linkage and had the vehicle towed, he immediately looked into it and put me back on the road within a few hours. I also have purchased tires and mufflers from his shop. It is very rare today to find someone this honest. He will fix both domestic and imports.

The only reason for the poor score for the "fix the problem the first time" is that NO ONE has been able to fix that car. Douglas promised to stand by his work, and he certainly tried. After working on it three times,we didn't tell him the car was still dying. This man was very concerned and worked very hard on our Chevy, more so than the dealership or any of the others that have worked on it. We would recommend Douglas to anyone. (I couldn't bring myself to call him "Dude" so I asked him his real name.) When we replace this car, Douglas will be our mechanic of choice.
