Not long ago, my wife's car needed a new battery and I was not in town to help. She called Paul Eden. That evening, after closing his shop, he drove the 20 miles to my house with the battery, installed it in my driveway, and charged a mere pittance for the service call. Doctors don't make house calls anymore, but my mechanic does.

I have been a customer of Paul Eden's for more than 10 years
and have always been very pleased with the work he has done
for me. I drive an old car due to economic constraints, and
he does his best to keep it going well for me. I would
recommend Paul to anyone who needs a good dependable honest
mechanic.

We have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager with 125K+ miles
before Eden's ever got to look at it. The first
maintenance Eden's performed was a thrown serpentine belt.
They found that the tensioner was warn out (I have replaced
two already). They replaced the tensioner, the belt was
still good, and the repair bill (with towing) was great.
Next, the first time the "Check Engine" light came on (in
125K miles) they diagnosed that the engine cooling module
failed. We also needed the clock spring replaced (our van
did not fall within the serial range that the recall is
for). We got these two items fixed for less than the cost
that the dealer wanted to charge to replace the clock
spring!! The third time was for a follow on to the engine
cooling module. Seems that Chrystler knows about the
electrical connector to the module having problems with
staying electrically connected to the module. The
connector burned up. Eden's replaced the connector and we
have been running without problems since (almost 127K miles
now)! Eden's personel have always been easy to deal with,
are very knowledgable, and do their work with integrety and
honesty. I highly Recomend them!
