My daughter lost control of her Toyota Corolla and ran into a guard rail. The front bumped was scuffed up and the hood was shifted a tiny bit over the front fender. I took it two other places for estimates and was told I needed to buy new hinges for the hood. I went to Roe Auto Body to get a quote on installing new hinges. The estimator took one look at the car and told me I didn't need hinges, the frame was bent and need straightening. When I asked how he could tell that by just a glance, he told me "experience." He then proceeded to open the hood and measure diagonally on both sides and the measurement differed by an inch. I mentioned that they were recommended by Fairway Amoco. I was so impressed, when I found out that in addition to body work, they were a full mechanical shop I thought maybe I should have them check my daughter's car for any needed mechanical work. They gently declined stating that they did not want to take any business away from Fairway Amoco. WOW!

We bought our daughter a "new" used Mitsubishi. Gosh everyone was proud. A week later someone smashed into her and the called it "totaled" and offered to buy it back for about a $1000 less than we paid for it and we would have to find another car. (Not to mention I had done $800 worth of maint. work on it to get it topline shape.) Oh yes, they also offered her a salvage title and a lesser figure if she wanted to keep it and get it fixed. I checked out this site, found Roe and told her about it. They worked with her and her settlement $$, the car is now fixed and is beautiful and she sings their praises. Go Roe!

My family has been bringing our cars to Roe Body since I was in diapers (I'm 25 now) and we've always been pleased. My personal experience with them was after I bought an Explorer from Carmax a couple years ago. I brought it in the day after purchase to have it completely inspected "just in case." What do you know - they found serious frame damage and shoddy repair work. They took me in the shop to point everything out and then documented all the damage so I could return the car to Carmax and get my money back. I'm sure they saved me many years of frustration with that car!

I went to Row Body Shop because I found good reviews on the Cartalk web site. The door on my Jimmy was badly sprung and would not fully close. You could practically stick your fingers through the gap with the door closed. I got several estimate from $200 to $400. Row said if they could spring it back into place it would be $47.50. I night dropped the car for an estimate. They called the next afternoon and said it was ready to pick up, no charge. I insisted on paying and they said no. They said if I ever need collision work keep them in mind. That's a no brainer. Good body shops are hard to find. They are now the only body shop on my radar screen.

This shop is great. We've taken cars to several other shops in the past before we started coming here. Our daughter's 2000 Escort spends most of its time in New Orleans, a city that destroys cars. So whenever she is back in town we arrange a checkup at Roe to insure she has a safe car for NOLA. You can trust these fellows to provide expert diagnostics, perform professional work, and stand behind it.

Thought I would update this since there have been no reviews since '06. They still do great work, never do more than is needed, and steer you right the first time. Any issues we've had after the repair (very few- and they even told us if the problem continued, bring 'er back), they have always stood by their work, it without any argument. One of the few places around I do trust!!
