This is a family owned and operated shop. They have always been honest with me and are reliable. If they say that they'll have it done by a certain date then that's when it'll be done. They're good at diagnostics and will look/listen/drive the car to determine what's wrong and then tell you what's wrong, what they plan to do and what it'll cost (for free). They buy their parts from O'Reillys and charge you the same price as O'Reilly's would. Some shops will jack up parts prices and discourage customer-supplied parts but these guys are happy with the little bit of profit they make due to the discount that O'Reillys probably gives them for buying in bulk. I've had them install a steering rack and a water pump. They've also diagnosed a couple of things (correctly) for me for free on several occasions. They correctly diagnosed a worn out pickup coil (over the phone) and a bad wheel bearing (via a test drive). I ended up fixing those myself to save $$$. I'm pretty cynical about mechanics usually because so many have tried to charge me for unnecessary services. These guys have never tried that. If you choose another mechanic in this area (or this one) get a recommendation from a discerning friend and mention that they recommended you. This lets the shop know that their work is appreciated and that two customers' business is on the line if you don't leave satisfied with their services.
