I have never understood the appeal, when selling a used car
of it being a "one owner", that does not necessarily mean
they kept the oil changed or otherwise took care of it.
I, on the other hand am usually the last owner, so need a
good mechanic that keeps my cars going for as little and as
long as possible.
My wife is an original owner but also the last (if you
don't count salvage yards) or the second to last owner. Her
cars average 8 years and 252,000 miles either before I get
my hands on them or there is an event that prohibits the
logical, economic continuation of the vehicle/owner
relationship. Same situation though, she needs good people
to maintain and repair over the long haul.
I know cars and car parts but certain limitations (the lack
of time, talent, tools and motivation mostly) prevent me
from doing the work myself. My wife knows excellent
service and value. We highly recommend Jeff Wolff and his
crew at Wolff Diagnostic and Automotive Repair.

Our daughter's 1997 Hyundai Tiburon shot craps at about
10:00 on a Saturday evening while she was returning home
from a fund-raiser in the country south of Eudora, Kansas.
She managed to get the car to a 24-hour station in Eudora,
called her father-in-law for a ride home to Overland Park
and called me about the problem. Her mother and I happened
to be at a meeting in Topeka and checked things out on
Sunday. After checking the Mechanics Files, we chose
Wolff's. I called Jeff on Monday morning to make
arrangements to repair the car. We had a diagnosis by 3:00
pm on Monday (alternator and battery) and the car was
repaired by 10:00 am Tuesday. The shop is clean and the
guys are great. The shop dog is friendly and likes
attention. Wolff's made a difficult situation manageable.
