I simply can't imagine better people to trust your car to.
I trust them!!! About a month ago I scheduled an
appointment to have front hubs replaced on my 99 Dakota.
The hubs and bearings come as a unit. After making the
appointment I thought maybe the noise was my tires. So, the
next morning I went in just as they were opening and told
them I was cancelling the appointment. They didn't get
upset even though they had already gotten the hubs in. They
said, "not a problem, we can send them back and get a
credit". As it turns out, it was the hubs. A great family
to do business with.

A month ago I dealt with them about front hubs on my 99
Dakota (See earlier comment). I thought new tires would
solve the problem. It didn't. To save money, my brother and
I put on new hubs. The very next day (Christmas day) I went
to Danville, KY to spend Christmas with my daughter. While
there I heard a new noise in the front end. When I got back
home it was a lot worse. My brother and I then put on new
rotors, calipers, pads, and even new front brake lines and
exchanged the brake fluid in the entire system. The noise
continued. I began to set aside money to have it repaired.
I set aside a total of $1200.00 and expected the worst. I
made an appointment for this morning (1/22/09) at Prestige
Auto. I even made plans to take tomorrow off because I
didn't think it would be done. I dropped the Dakota off at
7:00. J.R called me at 12:30 to say it was finished. He
said we had put the anti-rattle clips on wrong. When they
handed me the bill for $29.47 I could have kissed them all.
They could have taken me to the cleaners. But, they did the
honest thing. I then made another appointment for next
Wednesday morning for some PM work.
These people are good honest folks. No longer will I try
to do the work myself to save money. After all, even with
mechanics, you get what you pay for.
If you need work done on your vehicle, there is no
reason in the world to take it any where else. Bill, JR,
and the rest of the folks at Prestige Auto will treat you
right and the work will be done right.
