Jim Hardaway just replaced my transmission fluid, brake fluid and rotated my tires today; he did a great job and only charged $90.!! this would cost me over $200 at a Honda dealership. You can't find a more honest, hardworking & knowledgeable mechanic than Jim Hardaway. He is a Master Honda mechanic. He also has a very easy to remember phone number: just dial 812-BUD-NEAR. I recommend Jim to all my friends and relatives; even ones that live over a 100 miles away because they can save money by using Jim.

Jim was very fair and informative. He diagnosed the problem noise with our car quickly and explained how to fix the problem. He serviced the car quickly and at a fair price. We'll definitely call him again when we need him.

Mr. Hardaway replaced the timing belt and water pump on my '97 Mitusubishi Galant quickly and properly. He charged me a lot less than anyone else...in fact he charged me too little, so I paid him more to be fair.

Called about my Mazda. He said Honda was really his specialty and wasn't sure if he could fix it. Suggested I might want to try someone else, which convinced me this was the honest kind of guy I wanted checking out the problem. Check Engine light was the presenting problem. He ran a diagnostic test, spent ten minutes or more looking things over, then reset system and explained why it didn't need a repair. Wasn't going to charge me anything for all this, but I insisted on paying him $20. Works out of a garage behind his home. Located at corner of Locust and Market, about 6 blocks east of I-65. Call before you go. Chris C.

Will recommend and procure rebuilt parts when appropriate. Extremely knowledgeable. Friendly. Mr. Hardaway works out of his home garage, but don't be fooled. He is not a shade- tree mechanic. He is a true professional. (He previously worked as a mechanic for Honda.)

He was very prompt, professional, competent, and seemed honest. He could have made some money off of me, but chose to instead let me know what was going on and what my best options were. I'll be taking my car to him as long as he'll let me.

Jim has worked on my Acura Integra, Honda Pilot, and Honda Accord. He is very friendly and honest and his work is exceptional! He wont try to gouge you for $$ and his pricing is very reasonable. I will continue to use him for my car work in the future. He knows Hondas!

Jimmy saved us hundreds if not thousands of dollars in unneeded repairs. The dealership we originally took the car to could not or would not accurately diagnose the problem, gave us a long list of "possible" problems, and wanted several hundred dollars just to determine the exact problem. Jimmy knew immediately where the problem was, and quoted us a fair and accurate price for the repairs, and made the repairs in just a couple of days. He really knows Honda's well, works super fast, and is easy to get to.
