The best part - I recommended him to my husband and he took his 87 Chevy truck to have a new engine put in. He liked him when he talked to him before he took the truck and liked him after - and the truck runs smooooo--th. One thing you can tell is the man has integrity and wants to give the best possible service.

We take all our used cars to Carl. He has worked miracles with two of them, and will tell you what he feels needs to be done to be safe, but not overspend. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I first took my Mitsubishi to Carl for a 2nd opinion on replacing all my struts and bearing plates. Carl said none of this was necessary, that my suspension issues were in more minor repair problems (tie rod, boot). He said the biggest issue was actually the brakes; I needed new front brakes, important info. I also asked him to look at the valves too because when I changed the plugs and wires two of the plugs had oil all over them. He changed those cover gaskets and looked at the timing belt while he was in there. He told me it looked fine. All that was October '06. This October I took it back because the gas peddle was sticking a bit and I just wanted him to look it over before winter set in. It's also been leaking oil (it's a '94) so he looked into that. He said the oil leak repair wasn't worth my money and he checked the timing belt again - said it looks fine. I trust this mechanic.

Check out his new website! It shows all the types of work they're willing to do and on what car makes! If you're buying a used car, Carl can help you to evaluate the proper value of the car and foresee any upcoming mechanical needs. e.g. The brakes will be okay for now, but you'll want to get them replaced in a year.
