I had several problems over the years with my Pontiac Sunbird ('89. Granted it was in there more than it wasn't but afterall the car was a lemon before it got off the assembly line anyway. I went there for everything, even my oil changes (reasonably priced) and left with full fluids and still some coin in my wallet. I will go to them when my new car needs some work.

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in to have the transmission serviced and the differential fluid changed. I dropped the car off first thing on Sat morning, and it was completely done by noon (I chose to drop it off and pick it up later - but they do have a very nice waiting area if you choose to wait on your vehicle). I dealt with Scott who is very knowledgeable, and very professional. When I dropped the car off, he said he would call in 45 minutes to give me an estimate using the parts/fluids called for by the manufacturer. He called right on time, and with a significantly better price than that of the dealer. The waiting area and shop appear to be very clean. This is a very reputable shop, and they really go out of their way to ensure that your vehicle is being serviced correctly. I highly recommend them!

I took my 02 Windstar there for a massive A/C leak. When I spoke to the service manager on the phone, he was friendly and in no way condescending. I brought my van and dropped it off over night. Next day they called in the morning with the problem, and after waiting one day for parts, they installed the plumbing and evac and recharged the system. When I went to pick it up, the manager showed me where the old part had failed and was friendly and nice. The shop was very clean. As for price, I feel the price was reasonable and plenty fair for their level of service. They seemed on the ball and fixed it right the first time in a very friendly timely fashion. I will definitely go there again for other needs, though I do most work myself. They informed me of service they recommended, but in no way tried to scare me into the service. It actually came off as good customer service, and not pressure sales. A+ 02 Windstar Minivan, Diagnose leak, replace tubing to rear ac, and ac evac and recharge.

These guys are fantastic. Honest, fast and extremely competent; I doubt I will take the car anywhere else as long as we live in driving distance. They have always provided solid estimates of the working needing to be done, and often come in a bit under the estimate. They have often taken me into the shop to show me exactly what needs to be done and why. After a serious traffic accident last winter, our insurance company insisted on having our car towed to an approved repair facility. Later, after a routine repair, the guys at Automedics found a bunch of things the insurance adjuster missed, and then went to bat for us with the insurance company. Can't recommend them highly enough.

JJ and the team at Schaumburg Automedics were helpful, easy to deal with, and extremely cost effective. Their price was easily 25% less than other mechanics I spoke with. They took time to find the problem, not giving up because they didn't see it. They completed the work quickly and without raising the quote! They did a wonderful job of keeping me informed and letting us know what needed to be fixed.
