When arriving in the area 4 years ago, the Ford Taurus needed radiator repair and the multi function switch in the stearing columb needed replacement. I was looking for work and did not have the time or the inclination to attempt these repairs. I told my wife to take the car to East Savanna and see if they would do the repairs. She did and talked to Jim Mills, the proprieter. He told her that he hated to do those stering columbs, but would. He quoted her a price that seemed reasonable. two days later, as promised, the car had been repaired and Jim told my wife that he was wrong about the estimate, it was less than quoted. We have used him on several occasions since then with similar results.

a few years ago I had my wife take our taurus there to have the multi function switch replaced. Jim said he hated to do those, but quoted a fair price. the next day he called to say it was ready. he then said "you know it went better than anticipated and won't cost as much as we agreed to" amazing since 1)he is a mechanic and 2)he was dealing with a woman. He has done several jobs for us and the price has always been as estimated or less. the work is well done with one exception in which he made it right and did so quickly with no additional cost. He has been in business there for at least 30 years. He is one of the last people around that will work on old air cooled VW's, but he works on everything. He amost always gets the job done when promised or before. An honest, and hard working business man.
