I've been to PJ only 3 or 4 times, but everybody at work also goes to him because of his good reputation for honesty and reliability. He won't charge for work that isn't needed or not done. I've never been back to him for the same complaint twice. I was going on a long trip in my Ford Escort and was concerned about my tie rods (valid fear with Escorts) and had him check them out. In 10 minutes he had them checked out and pronounced them safe and fine. At no charge. When I took another escort in for Brake work, he test drove the car that his assistant had worked on and when it wasn't satisfactory, he had the guy refine the disk to work out a minor wobble. I've never had Midas test drive a car after work done.

My wife brought her 1990 Ford Ranger because the brake line had corroded away leaving her with no brakes. Pj fixed the problem and noticed that metal was rubbing on metal and that the front pads and the rotors needed to be replaced which other shops wanted $389 + Labor. Pj fixed everything on the truck even the 4x4 wasn't working, it is now. It was all repaired for $380 total. When we went in to pick up the truck he showed us the rotors and how shredded they were. I highly recommend Pj at Leonards Garage 100%. I will stay with him as our mechanic.

It is a one man operation. P.J. is very friendly and, I believe, tries very hard to keep the price as low as possible. If he feels he cannot do the work, he will suggest a place where it can be done (someplace where he would take his vehicle).
